For the Past Month....

The past month has been tiny bit crazy. I am so sorry I haven't been updating. Here is what has kept me away from life:

Directing and Producing "Savior of the World" for our Stake

Cleaning up "Savior of the World"

Directing the production side of "Festival of the Nativity" for our Stake. That means 3 days of music and spoken word with different talent every hour.

Teaching young artists at the new JCC.

Performing in "Finding Nemo-The Musical"

Rehearsing and performing in a concert version of "Les Miserables"

Teaching my amazing young women

Flying to Virginia and visit Joe and his adorable family

Throwing a one year birthday party for Abby

Canceling a one year birthday party because of walking pneumonia

Getting over walking pneumonia

Throwing a baby shower for my sweet friend, Luana

Going to call-back for Belle

Playing with the "Lucky Fins"-the Nemo softball team

Auditioning for 4 commericals and 2 student films

Feeling extremely blessed to have amazing friends and family

Being in love with the most amazing man in the entire world.

Sorry if I haven't been here. I am back now. Oh, and I have a new camera. Expect a TON more of these.

Savior of the World

Adam and I were asked to direct our stake's production of "Savior of the World". We were both lucky enough to be able to be a part of "Savior of the World" up at the Conference Center and we always feel a little bit badly at each holiday season that passes without being in it.

We are so excited to be putting this together down here in Orlando. This has been an amazing experience. Directing a production is a whole insane experience, but thankfully our cast and crew have been so supportive and kind. We are starting into our last 2 weeks of rehearsals, so I am going to be a little bit crazy.

If you are going to be in Orlando Nov. 19-21, let me know. We'll get you tickets!

Menchie's!

We love this frozen yogurt place called Menchie's. It's amazing! We go here all of the time.

They have about 12 different flavors and like 35 different toppings and you get to try he flavors before you buy it then you pay for your treat by the ounce. BRILLIANT!

My fav's? Georgia Peach or Peanut Butter Gold.

A Trip to the Hospital

So we are directing "Savior of the World" for our stake. After rehearsal one night I was locking up the church and felt a small bug bite me on my second toe. It was a little bite and I didn't think anything of it. Adam and I got in the car and as we were driving home I kept itching it. It kept getting worse and worse. Then my underarms started itching and burning. Then my hips, then my lips started swelling. Then my eyes started burning. By the time we were home, I felt like everything on my body was burning and itching. Adam gave me some Benadryl and then he gave me a blessing. I thought that I would just soak in a cool bath and I would get better. Adam looked at me and told me that we needed to go to the hospital NOW. I argued a little with him and then gave in. I am so grateful that he listens to the Spirit. We live about 5 minutes from the hospital and by the time we arrived my airway was closed off and I couldn't breath. They stuck and bunch of stuff in me right there in triage and I finally started up breathing again.

Fun times! I got a tiny taste of what my little sister Bethie goes through anytime she gets around peanuts.

Adam got this picture before we went to the hospital. Awesome, right?

Happiness

This is my Abby. She is so sweet and perfect. She was a pain to potty train but now that she is trained, she is perfect. She is that little bit of fluff that greets me when I walk in the door and she always wants to be pet and cuddled.

Thanks Abby! You give our little family a bit more sunshine!

ReShoot

This is a picture from my re-shoot of the "Arm and Hammer" commercial. Unfortunately we had to re-shoot because of the tragic passing of Billy Mays.
I was glad to work again with this sweet girl. Brady played my daughter and even though the circumstances were not the best, it was great to see her.

The birthday's

We got to celebrate some fun birthday's this month.

This is Megan. She is our glorious roommate. She plays Nemo in our show and had some troubles with her housing situation so she is living with us. She is a ton of fun and we have enjoyed having her as a part of our family.

Here she is, her hair all curly and she is ready to be 20!
The cast met us at "Menchie's" after a lovely dinner for Meg's favorite treat.
We all love some amazing Fro-Yo! Happy Birthday Mego!
This is a picture from Miss Melanie's Birthday. We rented a party bus and spent the night riding around and going to clubs. Myself and Ashley (the two women on the bottom) were the designated drivers. Always have a Mormon and a pregnant lady available for that kind of duty.

Happy Birthday Mel!
